After graduation, Jo completed one year of Dental Foundation Training with Health Education England, during which she undertook additional training in Dental Therapy within NHS services.
Jo has worked in dentistry for 24 years. She has undertaken most roles within dental services and has a deep understanding of patient care. Since graduation, Jo has worked in a hospital setting as a dental therapist in the consultant-led paediatric department at The Royal London Hospital, undertaking a wide range of dental treatments for children with complex medical and dental needs.
She has also worked with Health Education England, treating children in a primary care setting. She has worked in both general NHS practices and specialist private practices, working alongside specialist dentists in the treatment and management of gum disease.
Jo has a relaxed and friendly approach to patient care. She’s passionate about providing a positive experience for all her patients, providing a very high standard of treatment, and giving patients the skills they need to manage their oral health needs.
In her spare time, she enjoys Irish dancing, being active, and going on long walks with her miniature schnauzer.
