Our modern dentures are made with cosmetics and functionality in mind.

Our dentists have a deep appreciation and understanding of denture design, creating dentures that don’t simply look like ‘dentures’, but like real teeth.
Replacement teeth that look and feel great
Our dentures are custom-made to fit snugly over the top of your gum line. We design your dentures to sit in your mouth as if they were real teeth, and work to precise specifications to make them. Each tooth that makes up your dentures will be the optimal length and width, and your dentist will show you a number of tooth shades to choose from.
Dentures are recommended if :
- You have been living with missing teeth.
- You have been living with uncomfortable dentures that rub and irritate your gums.
- Your dentures no longer fit (they move around in your mouth).
- You wish to invest in your oral health and smile (great news, as this is only a good thing for your future).
We offer 3 types of dentures:
- Partial dentures for replacing several teeth.
- Complete dentures to replace all of your teeth.
- Implant-retained dentures that are held in place with dental implants in the jaw.
During your consultation, your dentist can run you through your options and advise if any teeth need to be extracted prior to starting the denture process. If you are suffering from advanced gum disease or decay, this can be in the best interests of your oral health.

FAQs
How long do dentures last?
Dentures can last (on average) between 2 and 5 years. At KT Dental, we use materials and techniques that allow for the creation of robust dentures that can withstand biting and chewing.
However, this lifespan can be compromised by:
- Fractures.
- Not attending the dentist and hygienist for routine check-ups (you can still get gum disease with dentures!).
- Eating teeth-staining foods – dentures will stain like real teeth.
What can I expect when getting dentures?
Following a consultation with one of our restorative dental team, impressions or digital scans of your teeth are taken. We can use these to create a trial smile, which we can make adjustments to, so as to give you the most accurately made dentures possible.
If you have remaining teeth that are badly affected by decay or disease, we may suggest a set of complete dentures to replace all of your teeth, once these teeth have been removed.
